Friday Favorites

My favorite this week has got to be sunsets. I never get tired of a beautiful sunset. I wish I had my camera Tuesday night at Brady's baseball game, because the sunset was amazing! Here are a few that I did get.

Action shots: part two

Here are a few action shots of the boys, all three, playing wall ball. Somehow I had never heard of wall ball until last year. Probably because it involves throwing the ball at each other if you miss catching it. It doesn't seem like my kind of game. Anyway, the boys love it. Shocker, I know. They get to throw the ball at each other, what's not to love?

Action shots: part one

My nieces and nephew came over for a few days a couple of weekends ago. They would have stayed longer if a stomach bug hadn't hit our home, but I'm not ready to talk about that yet! Just kidding, about the not ready to talk about it part, not about the stomach bug part. Anyway, it just so happened that Keith and the kids gave me my new camera early, so I drove the kids all crazy taking pictures. They liked the action shots on the trampoline though.

I think Avery's looking at me to make sure I was still watching and taking pictures.

Is that a cheerleader jump?!

Sam was so excited that he learned to do a flip!

Look at all that hair!!

It looks like Emma is holding herself up by her fingertips!

Pre-school graduation

This is Chloe's teacher, Mrs. Nita, who Chloe loves!

This is Ms. Christi, her Bible teacher. She's had her for two years, and loves her as well. One of Chloe's favorite parts of the day was going to Bible class with Ms. Christi!

Last week Chloe had her pre-school graduation. It was a cute program, and she had fun singing her songs. They got to wear caps and gowns, and received a Bible for graduation. Minima and Bitiba came up for the big event too, which made Chloe's day!

I LOVE these pictures!

These are some of my favorite pictures of Keith and Chloe. I'm loving my new camera, but still trying to figure it all out. I would love to take some photography classes eventually, but right now, I think I just need someone to tell me what all the camera will do!

New camera!!

I got a new camera for Mother's day, and I'm so excited!!!! Keith and the kids surprised me a couple of days early, so I could have it to take pictures. And now I can't stop, even though the kids are bored with it all. (i just went through 444 pictures, and i had already deleted some!) Even Chloe is tired of posing for me! Anyway, I just had to share this one from the weekend. More to come later...

Blessed

Today I'm feeling very thankful and blessed that our home is fine, and that all we got was a lot of rain. Not anywhere near the amount of rain they got in Nashville and surrounding areas, but Keith did encounter at least one closed road on his way to work this morning. I'm feeling very blessed, but also very helpless. I've been watching the news almost nonstop the past couple of days, because I just can't stop looking at the devastation. My sister and her family were affected, but not flooded thankfully. The community near them, where they go to church, has some areas that are completely devastated. We used to live in that community, and it just blows my mind to see the pictures. I don't even know how many families have lost everything, but it's in the hundreds in that one area alone. My brother and his family were affected as well, but thankfully they were spared the flooding that many around them endured. My sister-in-law has some pictures on her blog that you just have to see. Unreal. I just feel so helpless. All I can do is pray. Pray for the families of those people that lost their lives. Pray for those that have lost everything. Pray for all the people that are working nonstop to make sure everyone is safe. Pray for those that might be waiting to hear about friends or family members. Pray for those people that are stranded, and can't get back home. Just pray. There is nothing more important or powerful that I could be doing at this moment.
