We are back from our trip to Disney World. We had a great time, and made lots of memories! With the busyness of life with three kids, it was a much needed vacation. There's something about Disney magic that brings the kid out of you, even a teenager who thinks he's practically grown. As wonderful as it was, I'm glad that we came home with a few days to rest up. Disney World is tons of fun, but not exactly relaxing. We got a few souvenirs, my favorites being pictures, but we also brought home an unwanted souvenir. Chloe wasn't feeling well the last few days, and we hoped that it was just exhaustion, but after waking up with a fever our first morning home, we knew a trip to the doctor was necessary. I'm glad we went too, because Chloe has pneumonia. She doesn't feel that bad thankfully, but we're still taking the weekend to rest and recover.

Disney!!!
We are having a blast at Disney World! I just had to share this one, because it cracks me up!! This is Chloe's first time on Rockin' Roller Coaster. As you can see, she wasn't sure if she would like it, but she loves it! It's her favorite ride. Avery is trying to keep a straight face, but don't let it fool you...he's having fun. Brady's joy is clear, and Keith is worried that Chloe will hate it. I took a turn riding by myself on this one, but I loved it as well.

Chloe's loving tennis!
Chloe has only had one tennis lesson, but she loves it so much that she wants to be outside practicing all the time!

More football and cross country
Brady got some playing time on varsity again this week. He wasn't pleased with his performance in the jv game, but he's ready to show 'em next week.
Avery had another big race today. It was a tough course, with lots of hills, but he did great. He ran it in 19.14.

Chloe is playing tennis!
Chloe is taking some group tennis lessons. She is thrilled! I'm happy with the commitment because it's only four days total. If she keeps loving it, I'm sure she'll be asking to do it again.

Voyles Classic
No pictures of Brady because he's been sick most of the week with a sinus infection, so he not only missed his jv game but also three days of school. After staying home on Monday, we pushed him to go back to school Tuesday, thinking that he would feel better as the day went on, because that's how it went the day before. Of course, that's not how it happened. He stayed at school and even went to the varsity game, but then came home with a fever. Grrr. But what Brady would want you to know more than anything else, is that he got to play in the varsity game and got a SACK!

Macon County meet
Woohoo look at those white legs! (couldn't help it)
this was somewhere past the two mile mark
This is a very hilly, tough course. It was also very hot by the time they ran. Avery ran it in 19min 43sec, and finished 47th out of 136 varsity runners. He was third on his team. Even though we thought he did great, Avery wasn't happy with his time. It was over a minute slower than his personal best. He's using it as motivation for his next meet this Thursday. The next course is very flat and fast, so he's hoping for a much faster time.

football pics
Here Brady's actually tripping on his team mate, but I like the picture anyway.
Brady recovered a fumble, and he wasn't the one to fumble!
Brady is loving football. I'm sure no one is surprised at this. I knew he would, but I still hoped that he would hate it. He gets a little playing time at varsity, but jv is what he really looks forward to. He loves it because he gets to hit.
