Sesame Street

I can tell already that there are going to be more pictures of Chloe on here, simply because she's at home with me all day and the boys are at school. I just love this picture of her. She's watching Elmo, who she loves, while I get my coupons cut and ready to go. I don't want to always stick her in front of the tv, but it is nice occasionally. It's a new thing for her to sit and actually watch a show, or at least part of it. The way she's sitting with her legs crossed is so girly!! Also, I think she must be working on some new teeth, because she has her hands in her mouth constantly.

Grocery store drama

I have to admit something to start off...I use coupons!! I'm one of those people you hate to get behind in line, but I'm starting to not care that you're rolling your eyes at me because I'm saving money and your not! Ha!
So, this is the kind of experience I had last night at Kroger. The girl was ringing everything up and then she took off all my coupons, except the ones that were competitor coupons. I used a couple last week, but I guess that person didn't know what they were doing, because this girl checked and Kroger does not take competitor coupons. I just nicely informed her that Publix takes their coupons, but all that got me was her looking at the guy behind me and rolling her eyes, as if to say, "can you believe this lady?". Oh well, I guess I know where I need to shop in the future.
I refuse to feel bad because I take the time to deal with coupons. I recently signed up with www.grocerygame.com. It's a website that tracks the sales at the store and then tells you when is the best time to buy. So, basically you buy what's on sale and combined with your coupons, you get it pretty cheap. It's all about stockpiling stuff. You should see my garage, or what we like to call the stock room! It's been really great for us, and it makes me more organized. I actually plan out our meals so I get all the ingredients I need. One of my goals is to cut out those quick, and expensive runs to the store for just a few things. It is quite time consuming in the beginning, but it's getting a little easier now. Anyway, I like it, so that's all that matters for me. Keith likes it too because now I don't call him at work and ask him what we should have for supper!

Sunshine!

Chloe and I went to the park today instead of going to the grocery store. The park was way more fun! It is so beautiful outside. She had so much fun on the swing. Every time I would push her, she would giggle. It was so cute how it didn't get old to her. I think her favorite thing was climbing up and down the stairs. She is completely fascinated with stairs! She just kept going up and down. She started to get a bit possessive of them too! She was only mildly tolerant of the other kids on her stairs!! I convinced her to go down the slide a couple of times, but that was a little intimidating to her.

Snow Days!

We actually had a couple of snow days with snow on the ground. There wasn't much, but it was enough to get outside and play. We all enjoyed it. Avery is getting a snowball ready for Keith! Brady is showing off his toothless grin, while Chloe is just walking around looking at all the "no", which is snow in Chloe language.

Girls are so different than boys!

I'm a little overwhelmed with starting this thing, and I'm not sure where to start. I figure you have to start somewhere, so here it is.

I love this picture of Chloe. She's wrinkling her nose at imaginary boogers. We have to keep the tissues where she can't reach them because she constantly wants to clean someone's nose. We still have to tell the boys to blow their noses!

Cousins!

I thought this would be a good first picture for my blog. This was at a birthday celebration at Renee and Chuck's house. Somehow we managed to get all the kids to sit down at the same time and look in the same general direction. Several of them had been outside playing, but only Avery and Brady look like it.

Okay, here goes...

It's now official. I've started a blog. I just feel the need to post something even though no one will ever read it because I haven't told anyone about it yet!! Hopefully today I can actually get some pictures on here to share. We'll see...
