I have to admit something to start off...I use coupons!! I'm one of those people you hate to get behind in line, but I'm starting to not care that you're rolling your eyes at me because I'm saving money and your not! Ha!
So, this is the kind of experience I had last night at Kroger. The girl was ringing everything up and then she took off all my coupons, except the ones that were competitor coupons. I used a couple last week, but I guess that person didn't know what they were doing, because this girl checked and Kroger does not take competitor coupons. I just nicely informed her that Publix takes their coupons, but all that got me was her looking at the guy behind me and rolling her eyes, as if to say, "can you believe this lady?". Oh well, I guess I know where I need to shop in the future.
I refuse to feel bad because I take the time to deal with coupons. I recently signed up with www.grocerygame.com. It's a website that tracks the sales at the store and then tells you when is the best time to buy. So, basically you buy what's on sale and combined with your coupons, you get it pretty cheap. It's all about stockpiling stuff. You should see my garage, or what we like to call the stock room! It's been really great for us, and it makes me more organized. I actually plan out our meals so I get all the ingredients I need. One of my goals is to cut out those quick, and expensive runs to the store for just a few things. It is quite time consuming in the beginning, but it's getting a little easier now. Anyway, I like it, so that's all that matters for me. Keith likes it too because now I don't call him at work and ask him what we should have for supper!

Good for you. People shouldn't be in such a hurry. I checked out the website you had posted and signed up for the trial run. I can always use a new way to save money. Never been much on coupons, but I guess it is time to start learning. I love Sam's too. We go every couple of months and stock up on stuff we know we will use. Keep the money saving ideas coming!!!!!!!!!!
Here's another website to check out. It's really similar to grocerygame, but it's free. www.mygrocerydeals.com
