My laundry room is my favorite room in the house. I thought the new would wear off, but I still love it just as much as when we moved in. There is at least one good thing that has come out of this whole burst pipe: I'm caught up on my laundry!! I've been stuck upstairs for most of the past month, so laundry is the obvious thing to do. I guess there is one more positive thing that has come out of this. I now know a flooring company not to use in the future!!A flooring update:
We finally have a floor! It's dirty in this picture, and we still have weights in certain areas, but it's there. We currently have a small army downstairs trying to get the house finished and cleaned. It's a little weird to have other people cleaning my house, but I think I could get used to it!!

I'm happy that it's done, but I'll tell you in a week or two if I really like it. It's different than our other floor, and it looks cheaper to me. Right now I'm being too critical, so I'm going to give it a week or so before making up my mind.
I am glad you got the floor finished before your company arrives. In the picture, the floor looks great. Good luck. I am jealous on how clean your laundry room is. My laundry is done, but the room is a mess!
