This is what happens when you go to Cracker Barrel with grandparents. You end up with a five pound Hershey bar. Avery tried to convince me to get it, but of course that wasn't happening. I wasn't aware that my parents got it for him after we left. They delivered it to him last night, and as you can see, he was pretty happy. I still can't believe that we have this in our house. Thankfully for Avery (and for myself) I can pretty easily resist a Hershey's. Otherwise it would disappear slowly while he was at school!! :)
Mom, if you couldn't resist Avery looking so pitiful, please don't ever take Chloe ANYWHERE! Seriously! Well, you can take her places, but not anywhere that sells anything!! :)

That chocolate bar and that boy were made for one another! You didn't bother to tell how ingenious he was when it came to where to store that bar---"Hey, Mom, it's (candy bar) flat so all you have to do is clean off a shelf in the fridge, lay the Hershey bar down, and store things on top of it!"
I think in all fairness to the accused Avery shared with everyone present, ate less than a regular, puny, little bar, and said "Thank you" upteen times!
Brady, I owe you 5 pounds of your choice.
As for Chloe? How do you think she got the make-up set with the nail polish that she CAREFULLY painted her toes with?
I'll take those kids anywhere, anytime!
Libby,
I'm afraid we are just "cursed" with parents that love our kids too much. I haven't had to say "no" to MeMe or Papa too much so far, but I know it's coming. And Abbey will be just like Chloe tugging on the heart strings of her grandparents. I can't wait. :)
i just love everything about this story. most of all, that it didn't happen to me.
HA HA!!
