SOLD
We sold our house. I still can't believe it, but I'm getting excited about it. Now we have to get to packing and looking for somewhere to stay for a few months until the new house is done. I'm not going to get stressed out about that just yet. I know everything will work out. We have six weeks to get the past five years packed up and decide what's necessary to keep with us and what we can put in storage. We don't have to paint or worry about getting the house presentable, so that's very exciting. We told several people at church last night, and it really made it seem real. I've been trying to focus on packing while somehow not thinking about actually leaving. I know that it's only 45 minutes away, but it's still going to be different. I'm seriously thinking about telling everyone at church that we're leaving the week after we actually leave so I don't have to breakdown in front of everyone. Somehow, I don't think I'll be able to pull that off! I really hate change. I don't know how I was an air force wife for five years. Does anybody really like change? How do you embrace change? I really am starting to get very excited about the new house. Now, if they would just start building...

Kite day

We had kite day and an easter egg hunt at church last Saturday. It was a beautiful day, and we all had a great time. Everyone came home with plenty of candy, as always. I just want to explain the pictures of Chloe a little bit. The Easter bunny was there to take pictures, but Chloe wanted nothing to do with him. Once she got away from him, she started waving, so I guess she just likes him from afar! The picture of Chloe on Keith's shoulders is funny because he told her to hold onto his ears so she wouldn't be scared. As you can see, she was fine after that. Okay, last one is just her under the slide with her hair sticking up because of the static. I love that profile!
Blessings!!

I thought the kids looked nice Sunday, so I wanted some pictures. They were all actually excited about it and Avery even suggested they stand in front of the fire place. He thought it would look nice, and I think he was right. Chloe was so into taking pictures that she kept standing there even after the boys walked away. I just wanted to put it on here for everyone to see.
House Update
It looks like we might have sold our house. It's not for sure yet, but I think it might actually happen. I'm so sick to my stomach right now. I'm not excited about it, and I think I should be. I think right now, I'm in shock. I know there are a lot of things that could happen between now and us handing over the key, but right now I'm going to just go with it. Keith and I have been praying that things go smoothly, and that we make the right decisions for our family. We never prayed specifically for what we wanted because I think we limit God when we do that. We just wanted what was best, and if this how it's going to happen, then it's His plan. I never dreamed that we would sell so quickly, even before putting it on the market. I think that just shows how we can't see His plan for us. Wow.
Brady and Chloe

Chloe absolutely loves her big brothers, and they both adore her, but she seems to have this special connection with Brady. I really feel it started from the very beginning. The other day he was just laying in the floor, and she decided that she wanted to lay on him. She's such a little love bug, when she wants to be! Anyway, sometimes I feel bad because she will be loving on Brady, but she won't give Avery any hugs. There are occasions that the tables are turned, and Avery gets the hugs, but it doesn't happen very often. Most of the time Avery doesn't care, but sometimes I think it bothers him. To be fair, Brady is usually the one playing with her while Avery is reading or playing some video game. Is this normal? Do most families with three or more kids have this type of situation? I guess this isn't something I ever thought about before we had her. With two kids you just know they have a love/hate relationship, well love/irritate relationship. I think hate is too strong of a word to use. Anyway, I was just curious if other people have this issue. I wonder if it will always be this way, or will it change as they grow up? I guess we'll find out...

Waiting on an offer...
Patience is a virtue. I am being reminded of that. Hopefully we'll hear something soon...
UPDATE: Well, we received an offer, but it's a bit low. It's a decent first offer, but not good enough. Maybe it won't be their last, who knows?! I guess we'll counter and see what happens. This feels like the worlds slowest tennis game!! So, it's back to cleaning and getting ready to list soon.

Big girl

My children always seem to amaze me. They have from the very beginning, and I'm sure they always will. I bought Chloe some new clothes the other day, and I put them on her today and she was transformed into a little girl. I can't believe that she's going to be two in May!! I love all the stages the kids go through, but some are easier to love than others. Right now is just fun. There are so many things about her right now that I don't want to forget. I'm not talking about in 10 years, I'm talking about next week!! Life is so busy and goes by so quickly that it doesn't take any time for me to forget. So, here are some things I'm going to miss as she grows up.
- the way she says milk "mok"
- how she calls Brady "B" (I'm not sure why, one day she just started saying it)
- "honey" means hungry, she always says it like she hasn't eaten all day, very pitiful
- pappy, her pacifier (I think I'm more attached then she is, almost)
- how every morning she has to bring her doggy and bunny out of bed with her
- Avery is one of the first words she ever said, and it used to mean a number of things. Now it only means Avery, and she says it like ah-yah.
- the way she sings the Dora and Elmo's World songs
- how she crinkles up her nose at gross things like boogers or sometimes her brothers :)
- she throws stuff away, says excuse me and has manners in general
- the way she takes care of all her babies and stuffed animals
