SOLD

We sold our house. I still can't believe it, but I'm getting excited about it. Now we have to get to packing and looking for somewhere to stay for a few months until the new house is done. I'm not going to get stressed out about that just yet. I know everything will work out. We have six weeks to get the past five years packed up and decide what's necessary to keep with us and what we can put in storage. We don't have to paint or worry about getting the house presentable, so that's very exciting. We told several people at church last night, and it really made it seem real. I've been trying to focus on packing while somehow not thinking about actually leaving. I know that it's only 45 minutes away, but it's still going to be different. I'm seriously thinking about telling everyone at church that we're leaving the week after we actually leave so I don't have to breakdown in front of everyone. Somehow, I don't think I'll be able to pull that off! I really hate change. I don't know how I was an air force wife for five years. Does anybody really like change? How do you embrace change? I really am starting to get very excited about the new house. Now, if they would just start building...

I think that is a world's record! Congratulations and best of wishes on the new house. I, for one, don't like change; maybe you got it from me. I like the status quo, knowing where everything and everybody belong. Some people find change exciting; it's not that I find it as much frightening as unsettleing. Hang in there and try to enjoy each new step God gives you.
