Curly hair

You would think since I have wavy/curly hair myself that I would know what to do with Chloe's hair, but I don't. It's starting to get long and actually hang on her neck, but the front hasn't caught up with the back yet. This is how her hair looks right after her bath. I love it like this because it's all neat and in place. It takes very little time for it to get all messed up. It resembles a rat's nest in the back after her nap and after riding in the car. The back will go up in a ponytail or in dog ears ( is that what you call it?), but the front isn't long enough to reach. It's just long enough to get in her face, which she can't stand. I'm sure soon enough I'll be fussing about it being too long. I can't stand the thought of having it cut! How do you ever get it cut? Anyone out there with girls, how old were they when they got their first hair cut, even a trim? I'm curious...

I can't remember the first haircut Mollie had but I definately remember that our beautician (which is also our preacher's wife) just barely trimmed it. Mollie's hair is naturally curly and it needed that little trim to make it healthy and it perked up so much. Anyway, as long as you trust your hair person I say a trim won't hurt the curls.

I know how you feel about not wanting to cut it, but you won't believe how much cuter it will be after even the slightest trim!!

I'm scared that it won't be curly if I cut it. I know that might happen whether I cut it now or later, but still...
