House

This a picture of a house like the one we are planning on building. We will probably be signing a contract in the next week or so. I'm really excited about having more room, and Keith being closer to work, but it's getting harder to think about leaving our friends. We've made some really great friends here. I was so excited about our kids growing up together. I know it's less than an hour away, and we can still get together easily, but it's still not as close. We have close friends just around the corner, literally, that always have milk, eggs or sugar when I run out. Who am I going to call for that? It's also hard to think about changing congregations. Every time someone at church comes up to me and tells me that they heard we're moving, it gets a little harder to think about. Well, I guess we just have to make sure that we don't let life get in the way of being good friends.
This post was actually going to be about the house itself, but I guess I had more on my mind! Anyway, back to the house. The lots in this neighborhood are pretty good size, so the houses aren't on top of each other like they are where we live now. So, maybe in a few weeks I'll have pictures of our lot to share with you!

If you do paint, don't paint each room a different color. One or two colors in the whole house works better (Of course, I'm the one with a different color in every room. I thought it would be fun. :( Now after four years we finally have the whole house painted and I'm ready for something new. It never ends.)
