Rain, rain, more rain!

These are pictures from Friday, when we had so much rain. The first picture is a bridge less than a mile from our house. It's not one we ever need to cross, but we always go check it out when we've had a lot of rain. That's the highest the water has been since we've been here. The interesting thing about this bridge is that it's just a concrete slab. It has no rails or anything to stop you from driving off, into the water.
The second picture is obviously a goose. What's interesting is that it's standing in a field, not a pond. Earlier in the day I saw it swimming in the field. That just struck me as funny.
The last picture is just a bridge we go by occasionally. The water was really high there, as you can see. None of those trees are normally in the water. I think they are building a new subdivision on the other side of this bridge. I sure hope they redo the road, or at least have another way to get to it.
The past few sunny days have been so nice! I'm not ready for more rain. Thankfully, it's been long enough for the water to go down.

That first picture looks worse than what I drove thru, (when I flooded my car up over the dash)! Thanks for the great memory! :)
