We watched our friends' three kids last night while they had date night. We trade off on watching the kids so we both get scheduled date nights. It's wonderful for us, and the kids all have a great time together. The kids are all around each other so much, they're almost like siblings sometimes! Well, last night Avery wasn't here because he spent the weekend with Minima and Bitiba. Brenna and Avery are usually inseparable, so it was a little different for her, but she managed. Chloe always gets plenty of attention from the girls, so she loves it. She tried on Brenna and Melina's shoes, and was able to walk around quite well in them. She's trying to tie them in the picture. (look at that hair!) The kids were watching a movie after supper, and it always cracks me up to see them. The girls both have capes on, and Brenna has a sword. I think this is how they are every time they come over. Brady enjoyed being the oldest boy for a change. It was very quiet without Avery. I think it was because he wasn't there to argue with Brady!! Brady and Melina said that Avery's the loud one! I know it's going to be hard on the boys when we move and they aren't literally around the corner from their friends. Hopefully we can keep up our date nights so the kids will still get to see each other regularly.

How wonderful to have date nights and such wonderful friends! Yes, the move will be difficult but as you know from Alaska, friendships endure. Just remember my college roomates and me. . .still close friends after 40 years and literally thousands of miles! One lived in Italy and the other now lives in Siberia. Ya'll will do fine.
