Sudoku is very addicting. I've always loved attempting them, but I haven't always been good at it. That is until Keith got me Brain Age, a game for nintendo ds. I don't have a ds, but the boys do. I play it most every day, but not all day. Avery will come in from school, and say. "Mom, did you take my ds again?" I think he's getting a little put out with me always playing it, but it's not like he's at home anyway. This summer might be a different story! I feel like I need to do something to help my brain not turn into total mush, so I play sudoku. What I like about the game is you can chose for it to tell you when you answer wrong, but if you miss five, then you lose. It says in big letters, YOU FAILED! So, it makes me not want to just randomly guess, but do my best to figure it out.
I think in the future I might want to play in secret, and you'll know why after this story. I got an email from Brady's teacher today saying he was stressed because I forgot to send in his field trip money that was due today. She knew I would send it in, and that I had just forgotten because he was absent yesterday. She was reassuring him that it was okay, and he said, "Call my mom because she's probably just playing sudoku, I promise, just call her." I think I had kids to put me in my place and humiliate me. :)

The story is hilarious. Your kids know you too well! That is a scary thought for my future. By the way, I am addicted to Sudoku too. I have a book of them in the bonus room in case Chris wants to watch something on TV I don't want to watch but I still want to stay in the same room with him. That way I don't get too bored!
As Mason would say, "BUSTED"!! That game drives me crazy...I am so bad when it comes to numbers, but Len is addicted as well. Isn't is scary to think about what our children tell their teachers!
That's funny. Lance has gotten addicted to it also.
i love that game, too. i think that story is the funniest thing i have heard in a while...
So, did you solve the one in the picture yet?
