We visited our lot yesterday so the boys could see it, and run around in their new yard. I think they are more excited about moving now that they've seen the lot. There was one disappointment while we were there. They had quite a few trees marked to be cut down. :( I knew we would probably lose some because they would be too close to the house. There really isn't anywhere else for it to go because of the shape of the lot. Well, I'm still sad about the trees, but this picture is a new favorite.
I just have to add that we went out there again today after picking out all our colors and all that stuff, and the trees were gone. Not all of them, but almost half. It was more than I expected, and it's probably going to take me months to get over it, but I'm hoping that we can plant as many as were cut down. That will make me feel a little better. I would love to plant some pine trees along the back of our property. At least there was progress on the lot. Hopefully this week they'll start the actual house, and not just move dirt around.

Well, I like trees too but it is exciting to see them begin to clear the land to build your new house! Have ya'll found a place to live until its done?
We're staying with some friends for a week or two while the boys finish school, but I don't know what will do after that. I haven't had time to really deal with it. The thought of moving twice in one summer is more than I can deal with right now.
Aw, I didn't mean to remind you to worry, sorry. I will be praying about that for you. I added a new post to my blog ... it took me forever to figure out how to work this stuff. I don't know if this is how to get to it or not http://soon2bstokes.blogspot.com/ but you can try if you want ... its not as good as yours=)
