weird

I have been calling around different places about temporary housing, and this morning one of the ladies called me back. She was really nice, but she kept calling me sweetheart, little girl, sweet girl. It was really strange. I know there are some people who call everybody names like that, but it was weird to me, and I couldn't get off the phone quick enough. I was finally about to hang up when she called me little pumpkin!! That just cracked me up. I got off the phone and told the boys that and they just looked at me like I made it up. I'm kind of hoping that she doesn't call back, I'll just find somewhere to live on my own. She's the kind of southerner they portray in movies!
